“Mujō Stripes“ shirt celebrates the Buddhist doctrine of Mujō “impertinence” hence the philo-aesthetic concept of Wabi-Sabi.Wabi identifies the rustic simplicity,freshness or silence.Sabi is the beauty that comes with imperfection.Wabi-Sabi contains three simple truth:nothing lasts,nothing is defined and nothing is perfect.I focused a graphic solution adopting a series of equidistant lines,to represent this concept.Their difference and their imperfection represent the beauty and uniqueness that characterizes these lines.Graphics interruptions that exists between the lines are a well defined space where clarity and cleanliness determine a compositive and conceptual “stop” between a graphic sign and another one.Rhythm,space,body and mind outline this project for “Stepsbros”.
